end of SPB... moscow next

my repeated attempts to have an early night have generally failed miserably. Finally last night I managed to be in bed by around midnight so am feeling a bit recovered now, which is probably good as we're planning to go to the Hungry Duck club in Moscow this evening which sounds like it will be a late night too.

two nights ago, stayed up to watch the bridges over the river Neva be opened to let big ships through - they start opening about 0130 or so, so we were forced to sit in various bars and pubs drinking until then. Ended up at the Red Lion which is a 24h fake english pub (keeping up my attempt to visit a fake english pub in each city I go to - I missed out in Bergen but got ones in Oslo and Stockholm).
